# Shader World

## Presentation

> Shader World is a GPU-accelerated framework plugin for Unreal Engine, dedicated to creating runtime procedural worlds from ground, ocean, and every asset you expect to spawn on them.&#x20;

> It is fast, interactive at runtime, and outperforms CPU based alternatives, while being scalable from smartphones to consoles and desktop PC. Indeed most smartphones since 2013 do support the required compute shaders.&#x20;

> The plugin released in October 2021, has been constantly updated and is owned by over 30000 Unreal Engine users, with an active community on Discord.&#x20;
